Faith Realm

"In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”  “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.  “Truly[f] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."

Here, Jesus teaches us if we say and believe, then what we say, will happen. It's noteworthy to mention that Jesus mentioned speaking first then believing second.  That places priority on the words of our mouths.  No matter how hard the case, or how difficult the problem, nothing is to big for Faith.  That is wonderful news!

Even for those who attend a "Faith church" and hear the message on a consistent basis, that God's manifested power is still available for us today, face great difficulty when applying these principles in their daily life.  I believe one main reason Faith is so difficult for many is because Faith is not physical. Meaning, there is nothing we can physically touch Faith with.  It's in a completely separate realm than the physical. To this day, there are no means by which mankind has ever invented that can connect him to Faith.

We can touch physical things with Faith but you can't turn it around and physically touch Faith. It is completely spiritual and impossible to connect to physically.  How I've wished for a faith button inside my ear or somewhere within my reach that I could press when I need Faith to function!  But, I can't!  If it were so, I'm sure I'd have fowled up royally many times over by now anyway.

The bible says that we were saved by Grace through Faith, and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God (Eph 2:8).  Meaning, our Faith is as much a gift from God as the Grace He gave that afforded it.  You and I couldn't produce any more faith in our own strength any more that we can produce our own grace in our own strength.  Both Grace and Faith are gifts from God.  That means, not only is the Grace that saved you Gods gift to you but, also the Faith to believe in Him as well. Boy, is God good!

So once you understand that Grace and Faith are 100% heavenly manufactured goods, and both a gift from God, you can better understand how they work and what it takes to cooperate with them.  One said it like this, Grace is what affords us salvation and Faith is what receives and appropriates it into our lives.  In other words, anything God gives is through His Grace, and His Faith at work in our hearts by that Grace, is what brings it into existence.  Whether its being born again or receiving healing it all comes the same way.  By Grace through Faith.  Both of which are spiritual.

Therein lies the problem!  We are physical beings called to work within the spiritual realm.  What we need is to understand how to connect to Grace and Faith in the spirit realm and bring them into our lives on a routine basis.  How do you do that?  It's hidden in the very words of Jesus mouth as He explained to the disciples how the fig tree died in 24 hours.

The way you connect with Faith, which is spiritual, is to speak the words of Jesus.  It's Jesus Faith so it requires Jesus words!

When Jesus cursed the fig tree there was absolutely no physical action or works done on His part outside of Him speaking.  Within 24 hours the fig tree died!  What is this?  This is Jesus, the Lord God Himself, perfectly illustrating to us how to operate His Faith flawlessly.  He actually challenges us to take His Faith and use it in this same verse saying literally "Have the God-kind of Faith".

So, the next time you pray the prayer of Faith, believing God for something, rest easy and speak the words of Jesus.  Don't stumble into doubt and unbelief wondering if His words in your mouth are enough.  Speak the word with confidence!  This is the good works you and I are called to!
